Shaun is responsible for overall strategic direction and growth. Shaun joined SilkStart after 10 years at AbeBooks (acquired by Amazon in 2008). Shaun held several progressive roles including most recently Director of Sales & Account Management, and CEO of AbeBooks’ subsidiary FillZ, a SaaS platform helping media sellers sell on multiple ecommerce platforms including eBay, Amazon, and AbeBooks. Shaun grew FillZ from its infancy into a platform supporting several of Amazon’s largest merchants, facilitating ~$300million in annual gross merchandise sales through FillZ’ unique re-pricing algorithms. Shaun was an Amazon Bar Raiser, trained in Amazon’s hiring, onboarding, and performance management practices. Shaun attended the BC Institute of Technology, where he graduated with a Technical Diploma in Entrepreneurship.
